St. Ann Office of Faith Formation
Our Vocation Work Report to the Diocese
March 9, 2020

Per Fr. Peter Jarosz’s request I am emailing to make your office aware of how our RE program here at St. Ann Catholic Church promotes vocations.  We first order seminarian cards from the Serra Club of DuPage County for each child in our RE program.  The cards are then attached to a short letter that is sent home with each child for their family.  The letter asks our RE families to pray for the seminarian and discuss vocations with their children.  Seminarian posters are hung in each classroom and our catechists/volunteers are given a seminarian card as well along with a letter that asks them to talk about vocations with their students and pray weekly for our diocesan seminarians.  In addition, we host a yearly “Catholic Life” retreat in January that is attended by approximately 100 5th-12th grade students and they all participate in numerous small group activities & discussions heavily geared toward vocations.  Thank you for your time and have a blessed day.
